Hi, I’m Hugh Jones, and I’m proud to be your Member for Darling Range.

I have served in the Navy for 30 years and live locally. My wife, Cam, is a local schoolteacher, and we raised our family here.

As a proud member of the community, I am your voice in the Cook Labor Government, and I am delivering for our community.

Our community is one of the fastest growing in the nation, which is why we have brought the train line to Byford and constructed a new train station to improve access to jobs, services and amenities.

We have removed level crossings, and are extending the Tonkin Highway and upgrading Thomas Rd, to make our roads safer, more accessible and reduce traffic congestion.

We are ensuring the community can access the healthcare they need, when they need it, with construction of the landmark $42.2 million Byford Health Hub well underway.

We are investing in the future of our young people by delivering the brand-new Sunrise Primary School in Wellard, and through major infrastructure projects at Byford Secondary College, Roleystone Community College, and a new early childhood block at Byford Primary School.

Year on year, we are making WA a stronger, healthier and better place to live.
